Gas Restoration Street Listing - Posted March 23, 2022
Daily construction will begin at 7:00 am and could go as late as 7:00 pm, depending on the type of work being done. Please be advised that there will be full and partial road closures to facilitate this work. Please take notice of detour signs and police details. Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through during construction.

Final paving on Lowell St & Chandler Rd Saturday, Oct 15th:
On Saturday, October 15th, the Towns contractor will perform final milling operations on Lowell Street (Beacon Street to Kirkland Drive - see detour map) and Chandler Road (I-495 Overpass to Greenwood Road - see detour map) starting at 7:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of these roads while work is progressing. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Message boards have been placed on Lowell Street advising motorists of the impending road work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Final paving on Rocky Hill Road Thursday, September 22nd:
On Thursday, September 22nd, Final paving operations are scheduled for Rocky Hill Road, from Linda Road to the end of the street. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of this road while work is progressing. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Final paving on Dascomb Road, Steeple Court, and Redgate Drive on Friday, August 26th:
On Friday, August 26th, final paving operations will be conducted on Dascomb Road (Steeple Court to Surrey Lane), Steeple Court, and Redgate Drive starting at 7:00 AM (see Dascomb Rd detour map). The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of these roads while work is progressing. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Greenwood Road final paving/detour on Thursday, August 25th:
On Thursday, August 25th, final paving operations will be conducted on Greenwood Road (Lowell Street to I-495 overpass) starting at approximately 7:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of Greenwood Road while work is progressing. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Message boards will be placed on Greenwood Road to inform motorists of the upcoming work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Hidden Rd final paving/detour on Wednesday, Aug 24th:
Due to inclement weather on Monday the remainder of Hidden Road will be completed on Wednesday, August 24th. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Shawsheen Rd /Brechin Terrace final paving on Wednesday, Aug 24th:
Final paving operations are scheduled for Wednesday, August 24th on Shawsheen Road and Brechin Terrace. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of Shawsheen Road and Brechin Terrace. The detour for Shawsheen Road will send traffic through Central Street to Main Street and onto Lowell Street (see map). The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Traffic details will be present for the duration of this work.
Cuba St and Stevens St Detour on Tuesday, August 23rd:
On Tuesday, August 23rd, final paving operations will be conducted on Stevens St & Cuba St starting at approximately 7:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of these roads while work is progressing. The detour for Stevens Street will send traffic through Railroad Ave and onto Shawsheen Rd. Cuba St traffic will be detoured through Shawsheen Road. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Message boards will be placed on Main Street to inform motorists of the upcoming work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Hidden Road/Gardner Avenue Detour August 22nd:
On Monday, August 22nd, final paving operations will be conducted on Hidden Road and Gardner Avenue starting at approximately 7:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of Hidden Road while work is progressing (see detour map). The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Message boards will be placed on Main Street to inform motorists of the upcoming work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work area.
Red Spring Road/Moraine Street Detour August 22nd:
On Monday, August 22nd, final paving operations will be conducted on Moraine Street and Red Spring Road starting at approximately 7:00 AM. The nature of the work will necessitate the closure of Red Spring Road and Moraine Street (see detour map). The detour will send traffic through Central Street, onto Main Street, and then onto Lowell Street. Truck traffic will be detoured through Argilla Road. The motoring public should expect delays as the work proceeds. Traffic details will be present for the duration of this work.
