The Town of Andover’s general contractor will be replacing the water main on Main Street, from Elm Street to Punchard Avenue (see map). Construction will begin the week of March 21st. We anticipate this construction to last approximately twelve weeks.
Update: Starting on the night of Monday, April 25th construction on Main Street will be taking place Sunday night to Thursday night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (OVERNIGHT).
Update: Night work continues on Main St. We expect work to be completed in the area between Post Office Ave, and Punchard Ave by June 24th. We appreciate your continued patience.
The construction may require some adjustments in neighborhood driving patterns; however, every effort will be made to minimize this inconvenience. There may be detours and delays. Emergency vehicles will not be prevented from responding to calls. There will be periodic shutdowns and potential discolored water associated with this water main work.
