Gingerbread sign up starts today!

Our Gingerbread House decorating event has returned! Be sure to sign up in person, in the Children's Room, to reserve your spot! Payment is required upon reservation for this annual fundraiser. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Topsfield Library.

Art Reception!

Please join local art group, The Pastel Circle, for their exhibition reception from 4pm-6:30pm on Thursday, November 17th!

The Pastel Circle is displaying works by Carol Batdorf, Evelyn Carnevale, Mary Connor, Ginny Finn, Nina Duston, and Sandra Lockard in the Activity Room from October 29-November 26.

Sen. Lovely's In-Person Office Hours: Mon 11/14, 11am-12pm: Senator Joan B. Lovely is holding in-person office hours at the Topsfield Town Library. The office hours will be held in the Topsfield Room, located on the second floor of the library. The room is accessible via stairs and elevator. Pre-registration for appointments is requested.

Mah jongg: Tue 11/15, 1-4pm: Drop-in Mahjongg is back! All levels welcome, no sign-up necessary.

CFCE of the North Shore - Music and Movement Playgroup: Wed 11/16, 10:30-11:30am: Coordinated Family Community Engagement (CFCE) manages and runs this fun event! Music and movement are important at every stage of a child’s development and can be brought together in this fun, interactive program. CFCE's programs include music with activities to further refine children's fine and gross motor skills.

Artist reception for the Pastel Circle's Art Exhibit: Thu 11/17, 4-6:30pm: Please join local art group, The Pastel Circle, for their exhibition reception. This exhibit, on display through November 26th, features pastel works by Carol Batdorf, Evelyn Carnevale, Mary Connor, Ginny Finn, Nina Duston, and Sandra Lockard. 

Holiday Donation Drive!

The library is partnering with the Community Giving Tree again this year to collect donations for the holidays. We have a drop-off box for donations inside the library and are accepting donations UNTIL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18th!

National Play Monopoly Day!

November 19th is National Play Monopoly Day! However, if you don't have Monopoly, you could try one of these games from our Library of Things! Maybe borrow a few to play over the holidays!

Catan

3-4 players, ages 10+

An international favorite, Catan has been called the “Perfect Social Game.” Embark on a quest to settle the isle of Catan! Guide your settlers to victory by clever trading and cunning development. The library has the 5th edition of this game (c. 2020).

Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition

20+ players, ages 8+

Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition is a new party game that’s just like Cards Against Humanity, except it’s written for kids and adults to play together. Each round, one player asks a question from a black card, and everyone else answers with their funniest white card.

Ticket to Ride

2-5 players, ages 8+

Ticket to Ride is a cross-country train adventure in which players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes connecting cities throughout North America. The longer your routes, the more points you earn!
