On July 21, 2022 Secretary Beth Card of the MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, declared a Level 3-Critical Drought in Northeast and Central Massachusetts. Secretary Card urges residents and businesses to continue to be extremely mindful of their overall water use, select only native and drought resistant plants for new plantings, and particularly, in Level 3 – Critical drought areas, to halt all non-essential water use.

If you have any questions, please contact the Harvard Board of Health at 978-456-4100, ext. 328, or boh@harvard-ma.gov.

Additionally, there continues to be an outdoor watering ban issued by the Water Commission for users of the town water supply. This includes but is not limited to yards, pools, car and house washing. This water ban will be in place until further notice.
