Teen Room Updates

If you've visited the library recently you may know that I'll be on leave for a while! Don't worry, we'll still have excellent events in the Teen Room while I'm gone, and you'll see other members of the library staff helping out in the afternoons. I look forward to seeing everyone when I return and hearing about what you've been up to!

IMPROV SKILLS FOR TEENS

GRADES 7-12

Did you know that improvisation isn't just for entertainment? Students who study improvisation train their minds to think more quickly and creatively in a variety of situations. They work better as a team and greatly improve their problem-solving skills. It's also a ton of fun! This improvisation workshop, led by Meredith Charles of Drama Out of the Box, is designed to challenge and inspire students to stretch their brains and limits. A great class for both the seasoned performer and those new to the world of theatre who are looking to try it out. This program will take place on March 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th - register for one or more sessions.

Registration required.
