Coolidge Corner Library
TUESDAY, June 14 from 2:30-4 PM

Putterham Library
WEDNESDAY, June 15 from 2:30-4 PM

Join us to celebrate the start of summer reading with ice cream and popsicles! We're holding summer reading kickoff parties at all three Library locations. Drop by any of our kickoff parties to sign up for our 2022 Summer Reading Program and enjoy a sweet treat. Library staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you sign up for our online reading platform, Beanstack.

Our summer reading kickoff is for kids, tweens, and teens in grades K-12, though there are summer reading opportunities for library patrons of all ages. Visit our summer reading page to learn more about our 2022 Summer Reading Program – Read Beyond the Beaten Path.

The Brookline Village and Putterham kickoffs will be outdoors on the Library lawn. If the weather is not suitable for an outdoor program, the program will be moved indoors. Any location change will be announced on library social media and the event listing will be updated. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library.

ELL Program Summer Celebration

Brookline Village Library
WEDNESDAY, June 15 from 2:30-4:30 PM

Join us for a celebration of our English Language Learning program! This party is for everyone who already takes part in ELL programs at the Library – English Club, ELL Film Group, and tutors and students in the tutoring program – and for those who want to learn more about these programs. Your families and children are welcome, too! We’ll have lawn games, activities, and snacks for everyone to enjoy. No registration necessary; just stop by anytime between 2:30-4:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you!

This event will take place on the Brookline Village Library lawn. If the weather is not suitable, we will meet inside in Hunneman Hall instead.
