Art shows on view January 4 - 30

ArtiFacts by John Murray, Gallery

Now, 80, John Murray began drawing when he was 3 years old. Fresh and surprising, emotionally personal and private, his work continues to present him with challenges. Working in many media, John studied printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Art. Every piece is an adventure fraught with danger and the potential for failure.
He considers himself a postmodern art maker and hopes viewers enjoy his efforts.

Wonders Everywhere: Relief Block Prints by Anne E.G. Nydam, Main Hall

Anne E.G. Nydam makes relief block prints of things that tickle her fancy, arouse her curiosity, and engage her sense of wonder – things she wants to share with everyone. She carves original designs into blocks of rubber or wood, rolls with ink, and then presses by hand.  Her art celebrates our world and the worlds of imagination.
