Millis Public Library: Year's End and Tidings to Come

The Millis Public Library will be closed from Saturday, December 24th through Monday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday. Stop in before that to get any books, movies, or games you might need, and (if you miss us), check out our E-Resources page to see all the Library resources available 24/7 from anywhere!

We will also be closed from Saturday, December 31st through Monday, January 1st for New Years and will look forward to seeing you again on January 2nd!

The Friends of the Millis Public Library are once again hosting "A Novel Occasion" on Saturday, January 28th from 12-2:30pm EST. Join us for this virtual live fundraising event where your ticket gets you:

- access to hear 10 best selling authors talk about their latest novels

- the book of your first author choice (along with a swag bag delivered to you) and the chance to win prizes during the event

- two intimate author roundtables where you can ask your burning questions and

- fun throughout!

Programs

A seasonal favorite is almost upon us! We're hosting the Copley Cats Holiday Concert this Saturday, December 17th at 1:30pm! You're invited to share in some holiday cheer with our favorite award-winning a capella group-- no registration required~

The concert will take place in the Roche Bros Community Room... Come early to get a great seat!

Millis Memory Cafe is having it's last meeting of 2022 and we'd love for you to spend the morning with us.

A memory café is a welcoming place for individuals and families living with memory changes. Each café event will feature a guest artist or performer, time for conversation, as well as coffee and refreshments.

The next cafe will be held on Monday, December 19th from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon in the Roche Brothers Community Room. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend.

Are you ready for the return of Bingo for Kids? Join us on Wednesday, December 28th at 10:30am as we play BINGO for small prizes!  Recommended for kids ages 5-10, all ages welcome, no registration required.

The fan favorite is back! Come make some Perler Bead Art with us at the library on Wednesday December 28th at 3:30pm and show your creativity as you make your custom designs that Miss Rachel will immortalize!  Recommended for kids ages 5-10, all ages welcome. No registration required.

Start your engines - Mario Kart Night for Middle School is coming back! Have your teen join us Friday, January 6th at 6:30pm to dodge shells and bananas to find out who the best driver is! Snag their spot on Rainbow road by registering here. Recommended for grades 6th-8th.
