MPL: A Very Busy Newsletter
Ready to start LEGO club again? Come play with out massive LEGO Collection, starting again on Thursday, September 8th at 4pm and recurring on each Thursday after throughout at least September! Recommended for children ages 4-10, all are welcome! If you have any questions please feel free to contact Rachel, our Youth & Family Services Librarian.
Family Outdoor Movie Night has returned! Join us on Friday, September 9th at 8pm in the Library Courtyard for a movie on the big screen!
The featured film will be Encanto (PG, 1 hr 39 min). The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift -- every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
Bring chairs or blankets to sit on, any snacks you'd like, and prepare for a fun evening! Stop by around 7:35pm to join a craft led by Miss Rachel!
Please check the event calendar or the website the day of the event for weather-related cancellations. Rain date will be the following Friday, September 16th.
Join us for our weekly craft program for 3rd-8th graders! Make-it Monday features a different craft each week to engage your kids and their creative spirits. Join us on Monday, September 12th at 4pm to make Initial Art or on Monday, September 19th, also at 4pm to paint a birdhouse.
Make It Monday requires registration so we can have enough supplies on hand. Please register EACH CHILD separately. Register for the Initial Art on the 12th here and the Birdhouse Painting on the 19th here.
