This month we are watching "The White Helmets."  This film follows the daily operations of a group of volunteer rescue workers of the Syrian Civil Defence, also known as the White Helmets. This film is from 2016 but the White Helmets have recently been in the news for their rescue work after the earthquake on February 6th.

Join Emma Green in this exploration of the ways that Americans are divided - politically, religiously, economically, and within communities and families. What has caused these ruptures and what are some ways for us to come back together? Pulling from the many, many people she has spoken to over the years as well as her articles on the Federalist Society, the Supreme Court, and Affirmative Action, Emma will lead us in this difficult but essential discussion!

Class will end without any check in or goodbye so you can drift off to sleep peacefully or wind down for bed!

Join us for a relaxing hour of creative play at Doodle Club for Adults!

We'll have a different doodle prompt each time we meet, or do your own thing.  Use the supplies provided or bring your own! This is not a drawing class, it's just an hour to let your mind wander over the paper.

CONDUCTING COLLEGE RESEARCH WITH COLLEGEWISE (VIRTUAL)
How can students and their families identify which schools will be a good fit - socially, academically, and financially?

There are over 2,000 four-year colleges in the United States for students to consider. How can families identify those schools at which their students will be happiest and most successful? We’ll share ways for attendees to evaluate the many factors that need to be considered, and even discuss how to visit colleges (a planning ritual that sounds easy but can sometimes be as stressful as full-contact karate).

PLEASE REGISTER HERE.
