Youth Room Summer Reading
There are two fun ways to participate in Summer Reading
in the Youth Room this summer
Book Bingo!
Pick up a Book Bingo sheet and fill it out as you read this summer. For each activity that you complete, color in or X off the square. When you get 5 in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal), stop by the library and show a staff member to get a GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE ticket. Fill out your whole board throughout the summer! The Grand Prizes will be drawn in August at the end of the Summer Reading program.
Weekly Reading!
Every time you come into the library this summer, fill out one raffle ticket for EVERY HALF HOUR you’ve read since your last visit to the library (for instance, if you read 5 hours since you visited the library, fill out 5 raffle tickets!). Put your raffle ticket(s) into the bucket for the prize you’re interested in winning. Winners will be drawn every Monday.
Grand prize raffle tickets and weekly reading raffle tickets are separate entries. You can participate in both Book Bingo and Weekly Reading!
Make sure you’re reading and visiting the library often this summer to earn lots of raffle tickets and to participate in our fun summer programs! We’ll have neat bookmarks and small prizes for visitors throughout the summer!
