News From the Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Holbrook Public Library
Our Friends group would like to invite everyone to our monthly meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6pm in the library meeting room. On the agenda will be fundraiser updates, a discussion on bylaw changes, and plans for future fundraising opportunities.
Reminder that the Friends group has a great tote bag available for purchase for only $10! The town wide plastic bag ban for retail stores and restaurants is now in effect... a new canvas tote bag will help you carry your purchases while helping to support programming at the library!
For " Love Your Library" month, the Friends will be holding a raffle to raise funds for the library. They will be raffling off a Tote bag filled with Heart Healthy snacks, Valentines Swag, and a lottery scratch ticket...total prize value is approximately $50! Raffle tickets will be $1/ticket. Starting Feb. 2, you can purchase your raffle ticket at the library or on the Friends' page on the library website. Good Luck!

Holbrook Public Library Fund
The newly incorporated Holbrook Public Library Fund is a nonprofit and tax exempt organization whose mission is to provide financial support to the Holbrook Public Library, ensuring that it remains viable, engaging, accessible, and free to all.
The Fund is launching its signature event the "Excellence in Education Award Ceremony" on the evening of April 20, 2023, at the Holbrook Middle Senior High School. The inaugural year Awardee is Massachusetts Speaker of the House Ronald Mariano. Please save the date.
