Sing & Stomp

Wednesday, February 1, 8 & 15, at 10 a.m.

Join us for an active, music-enriched program open to all! Sing & Stomp is a noisy half hour of songs, dance, and fingerplays; no registration necessary.

Preschool Stories

Thursday, February 2, 9 & 16, at 10 a.m.

Children ages 3-5 are welcome to join Miss Andrea at the Groton Public Library for stories and songs!

Stretch’s Pirate Party

Saturday, February 4, at 10 a.m.

Ahoy, matey! This Take Your Child to the Library Day, we are celebrating Stretch the giraffe's birthday with pirate adventures! Festivities will include crafts, activities, and treasure. This program is open to children of all ages.

Babies & Books

Tuesday, February 7 & 14, at 10 a.m.

Babies ages birth-2 will enjoy nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays, and movements. Open playtime will be offered after storytime.

Puppy Love with Chase & Friends

Saturday, February 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library for a craft-filled Saturday morning with Groton PD’s therapy dog, Chase. We will be making dog-friendly valentines for our favorite pups, including shelter dogs at Groton Animal Control. Refreshments will be provided, while supplies last. Proudly sponsored by Dunkin Donuts.

STEM Grab & Go

Friday, February 17, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Pick up a kit to experiment and explore different science topics; available while supplies last. Ages 5+. Sponsored by the Groton Public Library Circle of Friends.

Children’s Book Bundles (Registration Required)

Through February 28

The bundle of the month includes handpicked books, a small craft, and a list of suggested activities to do with the family. Reserve online at grotonpl.org or by calling (860) 441-6750. Participants must have an active library card.
