This child-focused playgroup is for young children and their caregivers. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with others, make new friends, and learn by playing in a literacy-enriched environment. Each session will include activities, sensory materials, and toys. No registration is required; just drop-in!
Children’s Grab & Go

Pick up a bag full of fun! Bags include most of the supplies you need, plus instructions, available while supplies last. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Holiday Sing & Stomp

Join us for an active, music-enriched program with a holiday twist! Sing & Stomp is a noisy half hour of songs, dance, and fingerplays; no registration required.

Cocoa with Canines & Cops
Saturday, December 17, at 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Join us at the Groton Public Library for hot cocoa with Chase, Hodges, and their humans too! Participants will get to meet the police therapy dogs of the Town of Groton and Waterford Police Departments, as well as decorate a seasonal photo frame.
LEGO® at the Library

Critter Camouflage

Animals are the masters of disguise! From stripes to mimicry, learn the ways that animals hide and why. Meet live animals, create camouflaged paper creatures, and play camouflage games. Presented by the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. Registration is not required; suitable for children ages 5 and up.
Take & Make: Party in a Bag

Take home a kit from the Groton Public Library to celebrate a festive New Year's Eve! Available while supplies last for ages 5 and up.
