Summer Supper Club
Pick Up: Monday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Meet & Eat: Wednesday, July 19, at 6 p.m.

At the beginning of each month, choose from a display of cookbooks labeled with one of four categories: appetizer, side dish, entree, or dessert. Then, bring your book and your creation to our Meet & Eat to share your culinary experiences. This program is open to cooking enthusiasts of all ages. Supplies are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fiber Arts Group
Saturday, July 8, at 2 p.m.

Do you knit, crochet, embroider, spin, sew, weave, braid rugs, or do any kind of fiber craft? Bring a project to work on and join us for a relaxing and creative evening at the Groton Public Library. All levels are welcome!

Morning Matinee
Tuesday, July 11, at 9:30 a.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library on the second Tuesday of every month for a free movie, freshly-popped popcorn, and ice-cold lemonade. These early-bird showings may feature cinema classics, new releases, or documentaries. Call the Library at (860) 441-6750 for this month’s film title.

The Groton Public Library will host a book discussion of “Daughters of Nantucket” by Julie Gerstenblatt. Set against Nantucket’s Great Fire of 1846, this sweeping, emotional novel brings together three courageous women battling to save everything they hold dear. Copies of the book are available at the library; call or reserve online.

Learn to Play: Dead Below Deck
Tuesday, July 18, at 5:30 p.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library as we learn to play Dead Below Deck. Follow the clues to solve an immersive mystery on an ocean liner. After learning how to play our title game, attendees can play any of the games in our collection or bring their own for a fun evening with friends! This program is designed for adults 18+.

Not Your Mother’s Book Group
Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m.

Meet up with fellow Millennials and Gen Z-ers (ages 21-40) at the Groton Public Library to socialize, play games, and talk about books. Inspired by summer travel, this month’s theme is “Planes, Trains, Automobiles, & Spaceships.”
