Hello Everyone,
My name is Allison Caraceni, I am the Vice President of the Friends of the Gladys E. Kelly Library. This year at our Annual Friends September meeting we are looking to elect three new Board members. The Board is expanding from seven to nine and one member is retiring.
The Friends are a non-profit volunteer organization whose purpose is to financially support the library so that it can thrive by helping improve and expand library services, facilities, equipment, and programming for all ages. The Board is responsible for the disbursement of funds that have been raised. All programs held at the library are paid for by the Friends and through grants.

As the Chairperson of the Search and Election Committee, I wish to invite those of you interested in joining the Committee to contact me. Finally, I would ask you to consider becoming a Board member. Being a Board member has given me the opportunity to serve the community of Webster and meet new people, which it could also do for you.
