Mimi Schlichter Art Exhibit and Author Talk & Demo

September Art Exhibit and Author Talk

Mimi's "The Beaches and Beyond" Art Exhibit will be on display in the Adult Collections Room of the Falmouth Public Library from September 2nd through the 30th.  The Art Exhibit will show some of the paintings from the 54 day project along with newly created oil paintings that will be added each week.  Make sure to stop on by!

Mimi Schlichter is a local artist, author and musician.  "She moved from Pennsylvania to Cape Cod in 1997 to pursue painting in an environment of light and beauty with nature as her inspiration and The Holy Spirit as her muse.  She paints mostly in oils, while also enjoying the flexibility and spontaneity of watercolor pencils paired with ink."

Then join us on Saturday, September 17th from 4pm-5:30pm in the Hermann Meeting room where Mimi will do an author talk and book signing for her newest book The 54 and Then Some!  In this new expanded version, Mimi includes The Other 46, the painting completed in the 46 days following the completion of The 54 Project.  She will also demonstrate her alla prima oil technique used during the project.

Registration is required to attend the author talk, demo, and book signing.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase by Eight Cousins at the event.
