The City of Westfield’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program has released its Request for Proposals for the Federal Fiscal Year 2023. Interested organizations and agencies must respond to the RFP by March 3, 2023 by 4:00 PM to be eligible for grant funding.
Federal Fiscal Year 2023 funding will take place from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. CDBG and HOME allocations have not been determined yet by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), but we anticipate being awarded approximately $365,000 in CDBG funds, $120,000 in HOME funds, and $450,000 in HOME-ARP funds.
Eligible CDBG funded activities include Public Services, Public Facilities, Housing, Public Infrastructure, and Economic Development. Funds for Public Service activities are limited to 15% of our yearly award, or approximately $54,750.

There will be two public hearings on January 24th, 2023, at 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM for community members who would like to discuss community development needs for the Fourth Year Action Plan Fiscal Year.
