Merrimack Valley Transit, or MeVa, will be introducing new routes on April 3rd that are designed to better connect key destinations throughout the Newburyport Area. MeVa will be taking a demonstration ride on Tuesday, February 28th at 2pm to test out these new routes and evaluating how well they meet the needs of riders. Mayor Reardon, Mayor Gove of Amesbury, and Town Manager Harrington of Salisbury will join MeVa leadership for this test run, and you are invited to ride along.

The tour will begin at 2pm on 2/28 at Costello Transportation Center, 68 Elm St, Amesbury, MA and is expected to last about 90 minutes. We will be riding the new Route 17 from Amesbury to Salisbury, Route 19 from Newburyport to Amesbury, and Route 20 from Newburyport to Salisbury.
