Grants (up to $1,000) support hands-on opportunities for students to explore art in a variety of applications. Grants up to $1,000.00. 

National Art Education Foundation, 10/1/2022
Art educators are invited to apply for scholarships to implement the goals for student learning outlined in the National Visual Arts Standards.  Average award $2,000. 

Frances R. Dewing Foundation, 10/1/2022
Funding focus: early childhood education. Priorities: new, untried or unusual educational methods. Previously funded projects have supported peer mentoring, arts programs for families in rural areas, STEM clubs, and more.

John W. Alden Trust, 10/5/2022
Funding is available to provide care for and administer to the needs of children who are blind, disabled, and who are mentally or physically ill. Support is also given to organizations engaged in medical and scientific research, directed toward the prevention or cure of diseases and disabilities particularly affecting children. Grants will be considered for the following purposes: capacity building, program support, capital campaigns, multi-year projects, start-up support and general operating support. Grants generally range in amounts up to $20,000. 

George B. Henderson Foundation, 10/7/2022
Grants support projects focused on enhancing the appearance and preservation of outdoor elements within Boston’s city limits. Awards range from $20,000 to $50,000, and other amounts are considered.

Center for Health, Environment & Justice, 10/7/2022
Small Grants support grassroots groups working on environmental health and justice issues. Grassroots communities of color, low wealth, rural and urban groups are encouraged to apply. Awards range from $1,000 to $20,000.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, 10/13/2022
Direct Effect Grants (up to $25,000) benefit individuals living with paralysis, their families, and caregivers. High Impact Priority Grants ($30,000 to $50,000) support respite, caregiving, assistive technology, and COVID-19, addressing social isolation, nursing home transition, racial equity, rural and underserved populations, and support for employment.

Burroughs Wellcome Fund, 10/13/2022
Climate Change and Human Health Seed Grants ($2,500 to $50,000) aim to stimulate the growth of new connections between scholars working in largely disconnected fields who could together change the course of climate change’s impact on human health.

Kids Gardening, 10/14/2022
The Klorane Botanical Foundation established the Budding Botanist Grant ($1,000) to help students learn about plants, explore their world and inspire them to take care of the life they discover in their local ecosystems.

Whole Kids Foundation, 10/15/2022
Bee Grants are available for cash ($1,500) or equipment (a Langstroth hive) to support K-12 schools in bringing live bees to their campus or to grow an existing educational hive program.

People For Bikes, 10/30/2022
Community Grants support projects that help to build the bike network of tomorrow.  

Sparkplug Foundation, 10/31/2022
Funding focus: startup nonprofit organizations and new projects of established nonprofits. Priorities: education, community organizing, and music.

Charles Lafitte Foundation, Open
Funding priorities: Education, Children's Advocacy, Medical Research & Issues, and the Arts. Average award: $40,000.
