Environmental Protection Agency, 6/17/2022
Environmental Finance Centers will provide local governments, states, tribes, and non-governmental organizations with eligible services, such as support in administering funds, capacity building, technical assistance, training, reports and studies, tools, and other eligible activities to protect human health and the environment. Eligibility is limited to higher education institutions and nonprofits.

Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative grants will support partnerships among community residents, local government agencies, victim service providers, community-based organizations, law enforcement, hospitals, researchers, and other community stakeholders. Projects funded under this initiative are expected to contribute to the body of knowledge on effective Community Violence Intervention practices and programs. There are several funding categories, with different eligible applicants. Awards are expected to range from $1.5M to $2M over 36 months.
