FEDERAL GRANTS

Health Resources & Services Administration, 6/1/2022
Public Health Scholarship recipients will be trained to work as case investigators, contact tracers, social support specialists, public health nurses, disease intervention specialists, epidemiologists, program managers, laboratory personnel, informaticians, communication and policy experts, and any other positions as may be required to prevent, prepare for, and respond to recovery activities related to COVID-19, as well as other public health emergencies. 

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, 6/21/2022
Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking grants will build on strategic plans that were developed under a Drug Free Communities grant.  Average award $50,000. 

Office of Minority Health, 6/22/2022
Seeking projects that demonstrate the effectiveness of general health and wellness policies in improving Black youth mental health, including suicide prevention. OMH estimates 8 grants averaging $400,000 each.
