FEDERAL GRANTS

Clean School Bus Program Grants, 8/22/2023
The program is soliciting applications nationwide for a grant competition to fund the replacement of existing school buses with clean and zero-emission (ZE) school buses. EPA anticipates awarding approximately $400 million.

National Endowment for the Humanities, 10/11/2023
This program supports research that examines technology and its relationship to society through the lens of the humanities, with a focus on the dangers and/or opportunities presented by technology, broadly defined. Average award: $150,000.

The City of Boston, through the Mayor's Office of Housing, is seeking proposals from qualified non-profit agencies and units of local government to provide housing navigation and supportive services to young adults ages 18-24.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, (LOI) 8/10/2023
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation invites applications to investigate the effects of state preemption policies on racial justice and health equity. RWJF will award a combined total of $1.5 million for up to six grants. Awards range from $30,000 to $450,000. Applicant organizations must be based in the United States or its territories.

Center for Health, Environment, and Justice, 8/14/2023
Support is available for environmental health and justice work. Grants awards range from $1,000.00 to $20,000.00.

F5’s STEM Education Grant, 8/18/2023
F5’s STEM Education Grant aims to help build the pipeline of female changemakers and future leaders by investing in programs to increase access to STEM education and career opportunities for girls and women of color. Average award is $50,000.00.

Mildred's Dream Foundation, 8/31/2023
The foundation supports education, equal opportunity in education, health, medical support services, mental health care, and abuse prevention. Must be a nonprofit with a 501(c)3. Grants up to $25,000.00.

American Bar Association, (LOI) 9/1/2023
Funding promotes innovative law-related programs. Average award $25,000.00.

Lenny Zakim Fund, 9/1/2023
Grants are awarded for economic development, housing development, education, food security, health, mental health care, anti-discrimination, social rights, human/social services, minority rights, youth development, crime prevention, legal services. Grant range $1,000 to $20,000 per year. Grants may be renewed for up to five years.

The National Youth Leadership Council’s Youth as Solutions
Support is available for youth service projects. Grant amount: $250 to $1,000.

Teton Art Lab, 9/15/2023
Teton Art Lab supports exceptional artists by creating new work through artist residencies and presents exhibitions, concerts, films, talks, workshops, and demonstrations by artists worldwide.

Justin J Watt Foundation, 9/15/2023
The Foundation provides funding for after-school opportunities for middle-school aged children (6th-8th grade) in the community to become involved in athletics. Average grant awards range from $5,000.00 - $10,000.00.

The funding aims to improve the lives of young children. The average award is $50,000.00.

The We Raise Foundation, 9/30/2023
Funding for Christian leaders addressing poverty and inequality. Recipients receive $15,000 over two years, with $10,000 supporting new programs and $5,000 supporting leadership development, which includes conference attendance and individualized leadership coaching.

Grants are made for programs and activities that improve teaching and learning in science and mathematics, grades K-5. Awards up to $1,000.00.
