City of Attleboro New Alert Wading River Treatment Plant

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the Attleboro Water Department will be removing the Wading River Treatment Plant from service until further notice. Some discoloration of the water may result. Please plan laundry activities accordingly. Our staff will flush hydrants as needed to help alleviate discolored water. Areas that may be affected are: Lindsey Street, Kelley Boulevard, Pleasant Street, North Main Street, Holden Street, as well as surrounding neighborhoods. Please avoid using chlorine bleach in laundry during this time. If you experience discolored water for longer than 24 hours please contact the Water Department at 774-203-1850. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience.
