If you need assistance using library apps, searching the library databases, or creating any of your own accounts, we're here for you! Stop by any time between 3-6pm. For more advanced tech help, consider making an appointment so we can best serve your needs.

Infants and toddlers aged 0-23 months are invited to this musical program specially designed to engage the tiniest library users while developing early literacy skills. Registration required; space is limited. If you prefer to join us online, you can sign up for the Zoom link upon registration. 

Homework Help with Teen Mentor

Thursday, Jan. 5, 4:30pm-6:30pm

Students of all ages may come in the library to work on homework and receive extra guidance from an experienced teen mentor on assignments in any subject. Register online for one-on-one assistance, or just drop-in.

Narcan Training

Wednesday, Jan. 11, 6-6:30pm

Narcan is the brand name of the generic naloxone and is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids - including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription medications - when given in time.
This Free Narcan training will provide participants with a brief training on how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and how to use Narcan, and a free kit to take home. The kit includes:

- 2 doses of Narcan
- Fentanyl test strips with instructions
- Face shield
- Instructions on Narcan administration
- Recovery resource guide

This training is provided by clinicians within the Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health and will be held at the Boylston Public Library.

Autor Talk: Bob Young’s "Walk to Wachusett with Thoreau"

Thursday, Jan. 12, 6-7pm

Join us for this presentation by local researcher and author Bob Young, who reenacted Henry David Thoreau's walk to Mount Wachusett from Concord in 1842. Consisting of a three-day excursion through the towns of Concord, Acton, Stow, Bolton, Lancaster, Sterling, West Sterling, East Princeton, and Princeton, Bob's walk is believed to be the first complete recorded re-enactment of Thoreau’s journey. The presentation will provide historical background information followed by a series of pictures and explanations of what he found and learned along Thoreau’s route.
