Summer Chamber Music Festival


Program Features:

- Participation in two small chamber groups with daily coachings
- Electives such as arts and crafts, wellness, improvisation, and workshops on special topics
- Classes in rhythm and music theory/appreciation
- Individual and guided practice time
- Master classes
- Chamber orchestra (2 levels: Concertino and Sinfonietta)
- Recreation time
- Three 45-minute private lessons

Ensemble-in-Residence (EIR) program: Open to advanced students and pre-formed groups. This advanced training program allows a chamber group to concentrate on standard repertoire and refine their skills as an ensemble. EIR members will have the flexibility to rehearse and coach more intensively, and the opportunity to present their own concert at an outside venue during the Chamber Festival. The EIR will also gain experience playing principal in orchestra, and leading sectional rehearsals.

For ages 8-18; placement based on audition

All orchestral instruments, pianists, and classical guitarists are welcome to participate

Final concert at 1:00 PM

Festival Tuition: $1,325 plus a $25 materials fee (participants must be age 8-18 as of June 1, 2019)
