Memorial Day Ceremony

The Mayor and the Salem Veterans Council invite you to attend the annual Memorial Day ceremony to be held outside at the corner of Cabot and Gardner Streets for the dedication of a vertan square in honor of US Army PFC Rene "Pete" Pelletier PFC Pelletier was killed in action during the battle of the Bulge around the town of Bastogne, Germany just 2 months before the end of WWII.

Along with many family members, PFC Pelletier's sister will be in attendance to receive the Massachusetts Medal of Liberty.

All veterans, friends and Salem residents are cordially invited.
