Exhibition: Brockton Youth Creates Biennial

Tuesday, Oct 1, 2019 from 10:00am to 5:00pm

You will find bold statements of color, mood, attitude, and more in this exhibition from the young, creative minds of Brockton Public School students.

Brockton Youth Creates: Artwork by Brockton Public School Students shines a light on the work of our youth. Showcasing a selection of work from children in grades 6 – 12, the show also honors the efforts of the dedicated arts educators and school administrators whose tireless efforts have made these vibrant and meaningful expressions possible.

Fuller Craft Museum has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Brockton Public Schools. Through this creative exchange, the young visitors have developed a deeper understanding of craft and the visual arts as a means of personal expression. These talented students now will serve as inspiration to our visitors in Brockton Youth Creates. A variety of media and content are included in the exhibition, showcasing the boundless talent to be found in the classrooms and studios of Brockton Public Schools. Fuller Craft extends a special thanks to Sarah Richards, Brockton Public Schools Coordinator of Art K – 12, for her collaborative efforts on this exhibition. We also thank the participating students, their families, and the museum staff for their contributions.
