Senior Center Update
Due to damage caused by a significant leak in the sprinkler system on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, the Franklin Senior Center will remain closed indefinitely to continue restoration of the facility, specifically the main lobby, library and front desk. Also small areas in other rooms. Clean up crews, engineers, and restoration specialist have all been on site for two weeks. Significant progress has been made. The Town anticipates next week will see more progress.
However, the Common Grounds Cafe and Multi-purpose room will be reopening on Monday, February 27, 2023! Entering the facility will not be done through the main lobby, but through the sides doors to the room. Staff are working out the complete logistics and will have more information next week! The Town looks forward to bringing back home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch on the 27th -- and, of course, plenty of coffee for everyone!
