Knit for a Cause
Monday, October 23 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Join us for our third series of meeting to knit or crochet hats for babies and children who are in the state’s care (MA Department of Children and Families). Patterns and yarn will be available, or use your own yarn (machine wash and dry only). Hats in sizes preemie through adult are welcomed.
Finished hats can be dropped off through November 27 at the Jones Library reference desk and at the Munson Memorial Library.
Toddler Movement Program with The Center Dance
Monday, October 23 from 10:30 - 11:30 am
Join our neighbors from The Center Dance for a gentle, joyful introduction to creative movement for toddlers and their caregivers. Using imagery, rhyme, and song, children are guided through simple yet foundational movement patterns that promote kinesthetic awareness, coordination, and focus. Simple, engaging picture books will spark young imaginations while caregivers bond with children, socialize with other adults, and generally rock out. This program is recommended for ages 2+. We will meet on October 23, 30, November 6 and 13.
