Winter arrives this Friday at RPL!

Bundle up and get ready for a fresh round of educational and fun programs at the library. Our Winter Event Brochure is now available - mark your calendar for the Creative Arts Sunday Afternoon Concert Series, or the Mindfulness Meditation Series! Winter programs for all ages begin December 1 and run through the end of February. Use the link below and follow the penguins right  to the library. We look forward to seeing you!

Highlights:

- It's time to register for Sleuths on the Loose! A Cozy Mystery Book Subscription group.

- Join us in welcoming local children''s book author E.B. Goodale to RPL on December 9.

- Teens! Sign up for a community quilting project  - no experience necessary. Registrations open December 12.

- Under 5's storytime (Monday MarvelsTuesday Treasures & Wednesday Wishes) registration opens on December 22.

- Reading is Title Town! Come to this new sporty storytime, Thursday afternoons beginning January 25. Registrations open January 4.

- On January 24, Dr. Zollie Yavarow comes to the library to discuss the potential, technological advances, and considerations around gene editing in Ethics for When Sci-Fi Becomes Reality: Gene Editing as Medicine.

- "Do ...  or do not. There is no try." Come to Star Wars Trivia, January 24.

- Curious about Mah Jongg? Wednesday afternoons starting January 3, join RPL's Alissa and learn how to play! All supplies provided.

- At the Veteran's Resume Workshop on February 21, we'll explore strategies to best present skills and attitudes to create a positive impression for recruiters.

December Holiday Hours

The Library and book drop will be closed on Sunday, December 24 through Monday, December 25 and on Sunday, December 31 through Monday, January 1. We wish you, your family, and your friends a safe and happy holiday.
