January 2024
Happy New Year!

First a BIG THANK YOU! Your generosity help us donate 324 toys to Toys for Tots. We also had a little help from our friends at Plainridge who donated as well. Thank you from all of us. You are a great community!

There is so much going on in January. I feel a little guilty this newsletter is so long! But we have so many new programs coming up.

For adults we have 3 arts and crafts making opportunities this month.  We have a cooking demo with a Providence chef and a talk with Stoney Brook naturalists about helping animals in winter.  And don't forget about our Virtual Author Events and new book clubs. Our take home SewFly project this month is a fabric storage pod for ages 10 and up. (limit of 2 per family)

For kids - we are starting a Dungeons and Dragons Club and a new Kids' Book Club. You can also register for a 4 part baby sign language class happening on Mondays starting January 22.

And don't forget to get any of your IT questions answered with Ben on Thursday nights. Drop in anytime between 5:00 and 7:45pm and bring your technology or device or laptop and get your tech working right!

So there's the short story - but if you want all the great info please keep reading.

The Library will be closed Monday, January 1 and Monday January 15 for the holidays
