Coming In January - Newton adopts the new
Minuteman Library Network Catalog
Minuteman's new catalog has many features to aid your hunt for materials to request and borrow.

Newton will adopt the new catalog on January 22nd but you will begin seeing the catalog linked sooner from other Minuteman Libraries.

Your account is already live in the new catalog, so you can start exploring its new layout and features (log in using your existing login and password).The Minuteman app will remain unchanged.

News from the Friends of Newton Free Library

Our Friends of Newton Free Library group is more active than ever, they recently held a very successful mini-golf event and fall book sale and they've rebranded with a new logo! 

Just in time for the holiday season, you can purchase their new canvas tote bag at our circulation desk for just $10!

Proceeds go to supporting youth services programming. 

Board of Trustees' Library Annual Appeal Hits Newton Mailboxes

The Trustees of Newton Free Library and the Friends of Newton Free Library help the Library in a variety of meaningful ways. We simply could not be the institution we are without donor support! Residents recently received a mailing highlighting our 2023 successes and outlining the many ways community support helped the Library this year.

Apply to Exhibit Your Art at the Library

Proposals are currently being accepted for July - December 2023 exhibits from New England region artists showing two-dimensional works, or works that are compatible with the Walker Rod system.  Application deadline is Friday, December 8th.
