This Club is for all levels of players ages 10 and up who want to learn how to play chess and/or improve their game.  Our Teen Volunteer can teach brand new players all the basics for playing chess, and players who already know the game can simply drop in and be matched to play against each other.

Join us for a discussion on selective college admissions, and how to stand out in the process!  Christina Hamilton, founder of Intuitive Education Partners, will discuss trends in higher education, building your college list, timelines for the college application process, and tips and tricks for best representing yourself to selective institutions. This session will cover demonstrated interest, interviews, essays, Early Decision, Early Action, and more!

Come join Christina Hamilton, Founder of Intuitive Education Partners, to learn how to write a college essay that stands out from the rest. Christina has worked in selective college admissions for fourteen years and read thousands of college essays, and now works with students and families to guide them through the application process. Christina will go over tips and tricks for writing the college essay, covering everything from brainstorming strategies to Do’s and Don’ts. Christina will also address the nuances of supplemental essays, demonstrated interest, and trends in college admissions.
