Holiday Closure
The Library will be closed on Saturday, December 23 and Monday, December 25.

Children's Take & Make Kits

We will have some Take & Make kits available first come, first serve for children and families for the month of December!  One kit per child.

Baking Demo and Discussion with Chef Erin Jeanne McDowell
Tuesday, December 5 at 7PM

Who doesn’t like a bit of holiday baking? Chef and Cookbook Author Erin Jeanne McDowell will demonstrate how to make one of her favorite recipes and then will have some time to chat with attendees about all of our “burning” questions. Register online.

Saturday Family Storytime
Saturday, December 9 10AM-10:30AM

Families are invited to a Saturday morning Storytime.  The program will include 3 to 4 books, rhymes and songs, and a craft or activity.  This program is for all ages.

Pajama Story Time
Wednesday, December 6 at 6:45PM

Come to a pajama story time at the library.  Books, songs and a quiet activity will be provided.  Wearing pajamas is encouraged.  This program is for all ages.

Reading to a Library Dog
Monday, December 11 at 4PM

Come and read to Aston, a certified therapy dog. Registration is required. This program is designed to help develop reading skills and is recommended for children who want to practice their reading fluency.

Play Group
Thursdays, December 14 at 10AM

Families are invited to the library to play and explore with toys and everyday materials.

All ages are welcome, keep in mind there may be some small parts.

LEGO Build
Friday, December 15 3PM-4:30PM

Do you love to build?  Families are invited to drop in to build with LEGO’s and maybe other building materials.  A new building challenge will be available every program, but you are free to build what you want.

Craft & Chat: Gift Bags/Gift Card Holders
Saturday, December 16 at 10:30AM

Enjoy making a craft while socializing with other adults!  This craft is making gift bags & gift card holders just in time for the holiday season!

All craft supplies provided. Led by longtime crafter Rachelle Toth.

Registration is required. The class is limited to 25 seats. Sponsored by the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library. Register online.
