Holiday Sing-Along for Shelter

Saturday, December 16, 10:30am-12pm

Bring your voice, friends, and optional musical instruments to sing and play along. Seasonal songs selected from The Daily Ukulele will be projected on a screen for easy reading. Come join in the holiday fun!

Donations will be gratefully accepted to benefit the Interfaith Winter Shelter. Hosted by the Ukulele Strum Group.

Far Out Film Discussion: Fanny and Alexander

Far Out Film Discussion functions like a book club - watch the film on your own and gather on the first and third Wednesdays to discuss.

Join us in the Community room to discuss the 5-hour television version of the 1982 family drama Fanny and Alexander by Ingmar Bergman. Copies of the DVD will be available in the Arts & Music department a couple weeks before we meet.

Job Readiness Workshop: Resumes That Rock (Hybrid)

Wednesday, December 27, 1:30-2:45pm

Learn about three types of resumes and which one will market you best; how to add value with accomplishment statements; and how to make your resume look professional. During this workshop we will teach you the best practices for resume writing and how to make yours rock. Resume examples and a handout will be available for viewing and saving for future reference.
