ATAC Collecting Items for Scarf Bombing

Teen council collecting cold weather items to be distributed in the community.
For the second year in a row, members of ATAC (the library's Athol Teen Advisory Council) are collecting items to give to the annual scarf bombing in Athol. All the items collected at the library will be shared with Deja Vu Consignments on Main Street in Athol, who coordinates the annual event. The cold weather accessories will be placed outside around downtown Athol in early January for anyone in need to take during the winter months.
The teen group is collecting warm and clean scarves, hats, mittens, gloves, and socks. If you are interested in donating, items can be brought to the library's Teen Space or Children's room and placed in the decorated boxes. Please bring all items to the library by January 2.
