Dear Ashland (and beyond!),
I hope you, your family, and your friends (and your pets, can't forget the pets!) are finding time this holiday season to just relax and enjoy each other. I'd like to use this opportunity to reflect on the wonders of the Ashland Public Library this last year - with the support of the town, the community, and YOU, we are better than ever! And, we are thankful.

We are Thankful for the support of the
Ashland Town Administration and Town Departments
This year, we were fortunate to participate in two wonderful town-wide initiatives - Halloween Trick or Treating and the Holiday Stroll. Not only did we feel connected to our community in a special way, we got to see many Ashlanders that we don't normally. We are so grateful to Michael Herbert (Town Manager), Jenn Ball (Asst. Town Manager), and Beth Reynolds (Director of Economic Development) for including the library in these awesome events!
And to the Finance Committee, Michael Herbert, and the citizens of Ashland for funding a new staff member this last year! When you see Erin at the desk, you know it's because the town is supportive of its Library!
One of our favorite events of the year, we are grateful to the Ashland Fire Department for fixing many boo boos at our Annual Teddy Bear Rescue at the Corner Spot.
We are Thankful for the Library Board of Trustees
Our Unsung Heroes who do so much to support the library from helping with Kindergarten library card sign up, Farmer's Market appearances (ask them about the button maker!), or just supporting the library and its staff with difficult issues. We are so thankful for their dedication and humor.
